The Weight Loss Drug

Welcome back Natural Health Family. I hope everyone had a good weekend and enjoyed the outside while not getting too hot. The heat is on as we plunge more into the summer months here. This week we are addressing the topic of weight loss and what are good healthy ways to go about it.

Have you heard of the touted weight loss drug called ozempic? It is a new “drug”, taken by injection, that has been out in the public eye. So what is this new craze and does it work? If you know someone or have seen people who have taken it in the media, I’m sure you will get both positive reviews and other complaints. Like many drugs on the market, most if not all come with “side effects”? But another question we could be asking is, what are side effects? Side effects are just other effects that are not intended but are caused by forcing the body to do something not in a healthy way. Like a drug, the drug is intended to have a certain outcome. However, the drug is usually not the exact amount of chemicals needed by the body so then the person starts to experience other issues such as that reported by users using ozempic such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and others. The body is smart and will adapt to what has been done to it. So naturally the body will get out whatever it doesn’t need from the drug. This is a brief explanation of why using drugs for weight loss usually is not a great idea, especially since it comes right back. However, there is another way to view weight loss. When we respect the body and do what it needs for it to be healthy, the body will healthily normalize its own weight. When you support it with the correct minerals, nutrition, and alignment practices, such as regulation of the nervous system, you allow the body to be in harmony, thus allowing it to shed weight naturally. This in the long run is more effective and leads to a more stable result.

When it comes to weight loss and other goals for that matter, many want the quick route. They see other people that are the weight they possibly want to be at and are quick to find the solution not realizing the process the other person went through. Rather, as we are patient with the process, we can enjoy the process and see that although the destination is great, the journey to get there can be even greater.

Have a great week.
