Apple Cider Vinegar and Tips for a Healthy Holiday

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-

We’re finally getting some rain.  It’s coming nice too, so it should soak in well.  We have been dry for months so it’s nice to see this rain, which is not only good for the moisture, but helps clean the air of the dust and pollen that we’ve had to deal with.  The only problem is that it’s getting colder and that, combined with the shedding from vaccine usage, and the sugar consumed by the holiday season, results in some sickness’s that we can easily deal with here at Natural Health.  Don’t forget that we have many great nutritional products to help reinvigorate the body and get the immune system working well so it can handle the upcoming winter and what goes along with that.

The holiday season is fun but our society has many traditions that get us into trouble with eating too much sugar and refined flour.  We always try to get patients to not eat that stuff but it’s almost impossible during this time of year.  The cold just adds to the stress and being around other people at holiday events, opens us up to the possibility of other types of bugs that our immune system will have to deal with.  We even have a great throat spray and liquid nutritional supplements for the kids.  Let’s keep everyone healthy!

The article than sending along looks at a natural compound called apple cider vinegar.  Unfortunately, it’s been touted to cure everything and that is just not the case.  The truth of the matter is that it can help to acidify a body that has been relatively basic due to the consumption of refined carbs.  There are many other natural things available to help with this problem as well.  We try to get patients to use mineral salt or sea salt to help us to acidify the body along with drinking lots of water to keep the body hydrated.  Many people forget about the simple things that help us to stay healthy, like hydrating but that the body with good quality water and electrolytes, and running a humidifier during the winter so that the body, and all the furniture, doesn’t dry out.  Another point, as we look towards the holidays, is to not get stressed out.  I know that the ladies love to have perfect conditions during Christmas and Thanksgiving but I hope that you can give yourself a little break.  Rather than cooking everything yourself, let some of the other participants bring something for the big meal, as long as it’s not full of sugar and refined carbs.

At Natural Health, we’re hoping to get everyone healthy and keep them healthy over the holiday season so that they can start the new year in good shape, and not in the hospital or under some type of treatment.  We have so many good ways of helping patients naturally and even just talking about the right kinds of food to eat can be very helpful this time of year.
