Welcome back Natural Health Family! September is going by fast and the weather is getting a bit cooler. The colors will change soon as we enter into a new phase of life. As we all know, we never just stay in one season such as summer, always there will be after fall and winter. It is up to us to adapt to these changes, which usually means we need to learn and grow in the process. Just like nature, our bodies need to adapt to the changes in our lives so that we can overcome the challenges that face us. For change, sometimes we must let go of the old so that we can embrace the new.
Speaking of the old, we have been told for many years that our genes dictate our health and that we can’t do anything about it. That is why in a medical system questions like “what is your family history of insert illness or condition?” So the question reasons that based on our genes that we will have so called problem that our relatives did. However, if we are abe to let go of that process and see it in a new light, we can actually realize that there are flaws in that approach. Let’s take in account the many instances that people born of a family do not have any issues all the way up to his or her passing. Or that many twins do not go through the same experiences. How could this be so? This comes from another understanding. When we see that to grow and evolve it would not make sense that our genes would be more apt to produce sickness rather than health. When we see that our genes are more of a blueprint and not the sole cause of health problems we can start to realize more of our own potential and ability to heal. That we are so much more than what we have been told.
Although sickness and illness is common, it is not normal. Through our ability to unlearn, learn and/or relearn, we are able to transform one paradigm into the other. We are able to be the change for ourselves and future generations, rather than be the victims of our past. Let’s grow together, help those around us, and lead us back to a world of health.
Thanks for reading and have a great week!
