Welcome back Natural Health Family! I imagine everyone had a good weekend with some cooler temps. Everyone is different in their health journeys and how they see it. Our ability to adapt to life and its stressors is important for everyone in how they are able to stay well throughout their life. Many times life can seem easy and like there is no stress. However, we all know that there are times when challenges do arise and we have to be able in the midst of fear to face it and overcome it. This ability helps us to grow stronger as we move through life.
Have you ever had a goal in mind where you wanted to run a longer distance, lift a heavier weight, or attain something in the future. Just like going to the gym to increase endurance, build muscle to get stronger, or work towards getting whatever it is that a person wants, they usually have to go through challenges to get there. Now in the process they are getting themselves ready so that they can achieve the feat that they want to accomplish. If we see it in terms of health it can come down to helping ourselves adapt to the different stressors of life. This stress, however, can have positive aspects. Again, just like the stress of resistance on a muscle helps to break it down and build it stronger, so can life’s challenges give us renewed strength.
Life has a way to guide us in many ways. Einstein once said “the most important decision in life is to choose whether the universe is a hostile or friendly universe.” When we are able to view stress in more of a positive light we are better able to adapt and overcome. Even as life throws us different curveballs we have the ability to be resilient and knock them out of the park. Have a great week!
