Peace

Welcome back Natural Health Family. Did everyone have a good weekend, gearing up for the holidays to come? Over the weekend I got to celebrate my grandmother’s 90th birthday with some other family. It made me think about our lives, age, and even as we get older what matters stays the same. When we pass on, we won’t be able to take all the presents with us, we won’t be able to eat enough cake to satisfy us, and we won’t be able to get back the time we had with others. What matters is how we live this life and how we show up for ourselves and others.

What do you think of when you think of peace? Some people think about sitting in a quiet place away from any other distractions or other people. Some would say being in nature, taking a nice walk, and/or doing things we enjoy like reading a book or watching a movie. These activities help us find more peace and balance in our lives which allow us to get back to a relaxed state. This is great but we also want to “transfer” this peace to other areas of our lives that might not be so easy to get back to this state. A good question to ask is what areas of life or even what relationships do i have that I could find more peace in?

Life at times can seem like a rollercoaster. We can have many things going on especially as the holidays are right around the corner. Although we can’t bring our presents with us after we pass from this life, we can choose to make peace with the relationships we have before we move on. Have a great week!
